Establishing a steady customer base is only possible with consistent product quality.
Therefore, a systematic tea brewing process and standard operating procedures (SOP) are essential.

This simplifies storefront operations and personnel training. With Song Jiu's professional SOP recommendations, whether for a store manager or a new team member, consistent delivery of high-quality tea flavors becomes achievable.

  • Why does black tea appear cloudy?
This phenomenon is known as 'emulsification' or 'creaming down’. It is considered a normal occurrence.
The lower the temperature, the more pronounced the creaming effect, and it disappears when reheated.
Due to the rich content of catechins, theaflavins, caffeine, and other beneficial substances in black tea, when brewed with hot water,
these compounds are released and dissolve freely in the tea liquor.
As the temperature of the tea liquor decreases, the theaflavins in the tea liquor aggregate with caffeine, forming larger molecular clusters.
The decreased translucency of these clusters makes the tea liquor appear cloudy.
  • I followed the tea brewing instructions as per the chart, but the tea still tastes very bitter or lacks flavor. What should I do
Feel free to call for consultation. We will diagnose based on your tea brewing SOP or customize the flavor according to your preferences.
  • How to Store Tea?
Three precautions for storing tea: Avoid heat, sunlight, and moisture.
Avoid Heat: Store tea away from high-temperature areas such as kitchens and heat sources. Consider placing them in storage space behind the kitchen storefront. Since maintaining a temperature of 15-20 degrees Celsius can be challenging in storefront conditions, choose the coolest location in the storage cabinet behind each storefront.
Avoid Sunlight: Choose a location that is shaded and cool to prevent exposure to direct sunlight.
Avoid Moisture: Tea are prone to moisture absorption, so it is crucial not to place them directly on the ground. Instead, store them on shelves or in cabinets.
