Commercial Tea Brewing Techniques
The key to the success of a brand lies in three crucial elements: delicious, outstanding, and stable products.
Establishing a steady customer base is only possible with consistent product quality.
Therefore, a systematic tea brewing process and standard operating procedures (SOP) are essential.
The intricacies of tea brewing, hidden in the details, serve as the driving force behind a brand's success.
Currently, the market is divided into three types of tea brewing techniques, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
Leveraging years of market observation and practical experience in helping brands grow from 0 to 1 to 100+, Song Jiu combines customer preferences and requirements to offer professional and customized SOP processes.
This simplifies storefront operations and personnel training. With Song Jiu's professional SOP recommendations, whether for a store manager or a new team member, consistent delivery of high-quality tea flavors becomes achievable.
This helps the brand cultivate a positive reputation and build a loyal customer base.

Why does black tea appear cloudy?
This phenomenon is known as 'emulsification' or 'creaming down’. It is considered a normal occurrence.
The lower the temperature, the more pronounced the creaming effect, and it disappears when reheated.
Due to the rich content of catechins, theaflavins, caffeine, and other beneficial substances in black tea, when brewed with hot water,
these compounds are released and dissolve freely in the tea liquor.
As the temperature of the tea liquor decreases, the theaflavins in the tea liquor aggregate with caffeine, forming larger molecular clusters.
The decreased translucency of these clusters makes the tea liquor appear cloudy.

How to Store Tea?
Three precautions for storing tea: Avoid heat, sunlight, and moisture.
Avoid Heat: Store tea away from high-temperature areas such as kitchens and heat sources. Consider placing them in storage space behind the kitchen storefront. Since maintaining a temperature of 15-20 degrees Celsius can be challenging in storefront conditions, choose the coolest location in the storage cabinet behind each storefront.
Avoid Sunlight: Choose a location that is shaded and cool to prevent exposure to direct sunlight.
Avoid Moisture: Tea are prone to moisture absorption, so it is crucial not to place them directly on the ground. Instead, store them on shelves or in cabinets.

Pesticide Residue Issues
Firstly, analyzing from the perspective of plant cultivation management, the pesticides currently in use are all lipophilic agents.
These are types of chemicals that are not easily washed away by water and tend to dissolve slowly. The lipophilic nature causes the pesticides to remain on the tea rather than leaching into the tea infusion.
Therefore, the pesticides are not consumed when we drink the tea. As long as the pesticide residues on the tea comply with regulatory standards, there should be no health concerns.
Song Jiu insists on strict pesticide inspections for all tea products, using only high-quality tea that meet national regulatory standards for production and consumption by customers.
*Additional note: The first steeping in Gongfu tea, known as the 'warm and gentle steep,' aims to help the tightly rolled tea leaves unfold, allowing the subsequent steepings to fully express their essence and flavors. It is unrelated to washing away or removing pesticides.

Origin Labeling Issues
Since January 1, 2021, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has mandated that all businesses selling various loose tea label the country of origin. In the case of tea blended from different sources, the origin must be labeled in proportion from highest to lowest, facilitating consumer identification.
